since there is a myriad of rotors available i'm after a 180 front and 140 ro 160 rear to be used with slx brakes on a a soul. What is a good value rotor that works well.

I use Aligator Aires with my Hopes.
+ weigh nothing.
+ makes pads last forever, especialy in smaller sizes
- less power than more 'solid' designs, can be countered by going up a size and they'ss still weigh less than the OEM ones.
- they don't work with all brakes, the judder is acceptable with my Hopes but with Avids it was like jabbing a stick in the spokes repeatedly to stop.
Got Ice Tech rotors with my Shimano brakes and they're very good.
