What are you using to protect the swing arm (paint) from chain damage as its getting clattered on the downhill bits ?

a lenghth of 40mm wide(I think) velcro (the loops side) stuck on the underside.

I recommend the raceface ones, cordura and one go in the washing machine and look good as new.

Split innertube wrapped round there, held on with a couple of zipties. It deadens sound and protects, and I for one quite like the look.

Nothing, mine's an ex demo bike, it had plenty of battle scars when I got it.

The more noise the better, keeps the red sock brigade on their toes.
