Well the daft sales had me in half a mind that they were close to the wall however noticed something new appear in my facebook feed this morning which prompted a quick look on their website for the first time in ages.
There is now an S36 downhill bike and this 27.5+ as yet seemingly un-named bike...

model 27.5+?!?[/url]
Maybe they're on the up again....
Rango?

Seat tube / top tube joint doesnt quite match between the two but there are loads of similar ones.
why internal cabling though on the chainstay ? Fixing a problem that doesn't actually exist IMO
Secret geometry?
as suspected, they had some new tooling bills to pay for.
Classic OO/PX tactic when they need to release cash.
S36 pricing looks crap compared to an Alu YT Tues
S36 pricing looks crap compared to an Alu YT Tues
Give it 2 or 3 days...the price will fall 😀
Seat Tube Angle (degrees) = 70.8
Measures up at about 80° 😯
I like the look of the rango, but the Stache has shorter chaistays, more reach and isn't that much more expensive either.
Now if On-One could stick to what they were good at and make a 45629+ which was a stache in steel and dirt cheap, I'd be all over it.
It's a DH bike, the saddle's there to stop you catching your nuts on the top tube, although that does look a long way forward! A layback post and moving the saddle back would sort it though.Measures up at about 80°
Needs a headtube gusset
OIC, the geometry is on the splash page for the dh bike just not on the actual order/details page.

That's not the actual price 😆
Is it just be who's ended up saying/thinking
Rango
in a ScoobyDo voice?
And now I can't stop doing it.

But why would someone buy one of the best-regarded DH bikes on the market when they can pay more for an unproven, aesthetically challenging lump from a company with a questionable reputation for customer service and employee rights?
Geometry looks good though.
😀
Argh, that S36 is fugly:
It certainly doesn't pass the "if it looks right it is right" test!
Ha ha haa haaa!
E-stay hard tail ffs, it's the 80's all over again. Most of them cracked
I'll get flamed for saying so but I think both look ok. I do agree in part with some of the comments above though.
Moving stock on to focus on new models is normal business surely? If anything it looks like OO have moved on from their previous approach of selling of OEM products and trying to be a one stop shop and have started to focus more on selling bikes again, which they used to do very well.
Their constant sales etc are terrible but by the same token I get a near daily email from CRC selling the same tat they couldn't shift in their previous sale.
Not saying OO are great as I've had mixed experiences, but they do seem to receive a lot of criticism.
There is still a fundamental issue with all these bikes.
You have to deal with OnOne, their quality control and possibly warranty 'department'.
For £1800, I would be looking elsewhere.

They used to have a very good reputation and basically trashed it with various shenanigans. Concentrating on doing a few things well might resolve that.
I quite like the S36, maybe Brexit combined with the 'sales' will tip the balance in their favour.
To be fair to On-one, they do tend to make decent riding bikes. It's the service and QC that lets them down.
I like the fact they have the fork travel for the Rango frame 130-160mm but have spec'd it with a 120mm fork!!
Other than that it's quite nice.

what tools do you need to turn from page 56 to 57 of the Big Chinese OEM Bike Factory Corporation catalogue?
Agree. They used to have a very good reputation and basically trashed it with various shenanigans. Concentrating on doing a few things well might resolve that.
As long as one of the few things is QA and another is customer service. Going by this and a couple of other forums, they misplaced those departments.
S36 Ugliest bike I've ever seen..
Thought this when I saw it last week on an email.
The DH thing is a monstrosity. The Rango's interesting. If they could provide some decent (ie accurate and informative) info on it and drop the price to something more reasonable for a catalogue frame I'd quite probably buy one

Serious question - do PX/OO have a "designer" in house since Brant Richards left?
Using the Stache 5 colour too 🙂
@Woodster, what's going on with that Titus? It's bloody brilliant. I
It's from the Instagram post in the first link. It's the new el Viajero apparently and googling suggests it may be out soon.
Can't imagine the 4 spokes will stay. I still remember how heavy my Spesh tri-spoke was.
Man, they make some awful looking bikes. 😯
I'm amazed anyone would consider buying anything of value from DFS. Yes, all brands occasionally have quality control issues. Yes, all online retailers occasionally mess up and make a hash of a customer service issue, but boy do DFS go the extra mile in being completely pants. In my case, seemingly unable to understand a really simple piece of consumer and contact law. Brrrrrrrrr.... Shudders. Never again.

I don't care how heavy they are, I want them!
Can't believe they're trying to revitalise Titus though after basically destroying the brand over the last couple of years. I suppose because Tomac took his ball back.

As if anyone would admit to those paint jobs.
Left the first time or left the second time? There was certainly someone else doing the fatbikes in the intervening period.Serious question - do PX/OO have a "designer" in house since Brant Richards left?
which aliexpress seller is this from?

See, how can this be offered at "40% off" when it's never been on sale at the supposed RRP?

Is that not against the law?
I like the 'Medarta steel' on the back of the seat tube. 🙂
I always wish I'd bought an On-One Inbred with horizontal dropouts when they sold them.
That Rango looks just like this rebranded with an on-one sticker

Did Tomac get his ball back then?
Like that space chicken. Fancy a stealth reverb on my commuter 😮
