I've been avoiding the light thread, though not hard enough as I felt the need to post on the one below. Quickly checking whats available, I can't see anything that new compared with last year.
The only 'newer' stuff is seemingly small dual or triple XML units, and the likes of the MJ-872 are selling for stupid money on ebay.
Are there no new XML killing LED's?
Admittedly I'm quite happy with my Trout Mini & lupine wilma or Smudge XML (both have issues), but usually there something 'exciting' on the horizon...

I believe mark2 LEDs have been available for a while now from Cree but it usually takes a while for them to actually be fitted into torches. You prob won't see anything until late summer.
Mark 2 XML's? (not U vs T?)
Or a completely new LED?
