Looking to swap my rater heavy Santa Cruz Bullit for something a bit lighter.
Orange 5 / Heckler kind of thing something that goes downhill well but not to bad on the way up. Unlike Bullit that goes down great but saps all your energy going up again.
Must be somthing that is available second hand.
Ideas...
I got a while Orange Sub 5 frame going pretty cheap. Fancy that?
I think Heckler would do what you want pretty reasonably. Mate has one that he loves, and weighs something like 30lbs. Goes like stink DH, and it's still ridable all day.
I've got a Cannondale Prophet frame that I'm selling - that fits your needs pretty well. single pivot like the 5 & Heckler, but maybe a wee bit cheaper?
