Found a crack on the rear caliper of my magura MT4 so it will be sent back for warranty, but we all know these things can take a long time, so i'm looking for something to replace it with while i wait, if i can get a decent deal i would be willing to buy a pair and use the maguras as spares, whats the go to brakes at the minute? And where are the best deals ?
Thanks in advance
Rab

And so you should 😡

Seriously tho' when Avids work they are kin brilliant.

Emphasis on WHEN in that sentence.

FWIW my next brakes will be Shimano branded.

After trying XT and SLX on my bikes in the past, I'll be using them again next time too.

Rose. SLX £55 each end.

You'll need to swap the levers over though.

Another £15 for a pair of XT , but rarely in stock at their prices.

Consider Deore M596.... possibly the best value brake on the market, not as bling as the above two, but a pair of powerful, quality brakes for £65 ...?

again, struggling for stock at that price.
