Looks like a steel hardtail but then I like steel hardtails and like bird bikes .
I'm assuming it won't just be a steel version of the 29er zero , slightly different geometry maybe . Looks good either way .
Looks ace!
I wonder if it’s the same factory as the on one hello Dave?
That came out of no where, I'm a bit of a Bird fanboi, but to me Steel bikes have always been a bit of a connoisseur's choice (or Hipster scum, depending on your point of view) and Bird have, to my mind, been all about the Performance.
Yeah not one i saw coming but welcome . I think Bird make solid good value well thought out bikes , i had an aeris for a few years and it was great until it got nicked . But i dont think they make pretty bikes , except the am9 in raw . But i love how steel hardtails look and ride so i could definitely see me paying for one of these .
Be interesting to see how the price compares to a solaris .
The Instagram post suggest the frame will start with a ‘5’ so should be under £600. Guess that’s similar to the Cotic Soul was and with 853 which trumps most stuff at that price. 29er only so far - but no more detail on it than the above post from what I can see.
Facebook says early 2021. Can't see anymore info. Feeling conflicted over my Stanton Sherpa v3 that I was told went into the paint shop today...........hey ho.
Sounds interesting. Bet the stack is high going by the other frames....I do like a low front end but its very hard with 29ers unless purely XC orientated
Some shiny thing to be seen sticking out of the dropout.
