I'm sorry, I know its not a mountain bike but, after 40+ years of riding bikes, I have finally built my first bike. Really enjoyed it (except for cutting the chain too short!)

Lawn is a bit brown, but is cut & edged, hostas are un-slugged, borders are weeded - no wonder you took a while to post your pix!

If you could take the cranks & saddle off the OP's & stick them on yours I reckon that'd be perfect.

Cranks are the same (bar rings) and the saddle fits my arse perfectly 😛
