Well today was supposed to start my 7-day countdown to the arrival of my brand new Whyte 146 Works bike...and you guessed it...production delays...expected mid January!

Don't get me wrong much rather the bike manufactured correctly and safely before I take delivery. But I swear if I see anyone on a 146 before I get my bike I am going to chase after you and beat you with a large fish that I carry with me at all times - easily fits in my camelback and the smell is not too bad!

Rant over ๐Ÿ˜ฅ ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Personally I'd cancel my order and make something else fit, MTB's aren't the same but they are!

I pre-ordered my Pipedream Sirius frame last November when the ETA was the following month. The ETA then got pushed back to the following April (and it then got held up by the volcanic ash cloud to boot)! It did get here in the end though.

It happens unfortunately and it's a real disappointment when you've been gearing up excitedly to a new bike. I guess it comes down to whether you really want that particular bike or whether something else catches your eye.

Ordered my new Fuel in October, due May, I'm not waiting that long, manufacturer loses out.

My On One carbon Whippet is on it's way (but probably stuck in snow somewhere.)

A certain ash cloud delayed the delivery of my Santa Cruz by over a month earlier this year.
