I must admit from the get go I am an On One fan - specifically the Inbred.
This is my fourth Inbred and replaces an identical version that I had ten years ago that was used for all sorts of duties albeit this is one size larger.
This frame came up severely unloved with a stuck seatpost that someone had made a right mess of trying to remove 😣
Some time spent with some caustic soda, a file and hammer and all looked much better and the frame was ready for paint and decals.
The HT badge I must have had for ~15 or more years!
Build is a parts bin build with the exception of the wheels and top cap that I bought for the build.
I’m not normally a riser bar fan but this one works well for me on this build.
Simple. Singlespeed. Steel.
Looks great that, love the colour. And the top cap. 😁
Someone's stolen half your fork etc.
Looks lovely, makes me think I should give my poor old 456 Evo2 (with a stuck seatpost) a bit of love.
That looks lovely - can't beat a bit of pink steel SS!
Here's mine ... (Not an Inbred)
Is yours 26er or 29er? Have fun!
I thought pink was a ladies colour?
Pink will look nice with no Mudguards.
NBD is always a good day. Congrats and enjoy!
Nice.
I'm still a raw alloy fan at heart, but the next best thing is a lairy paint job (utterly jealous of the mini a11y's new bikes with a glitter/flip paint finish).
Nice bike!
And another member of the club (although since mine's full bounce and has gears, I'm feeling like a bit of an imposter!).
"I thought pink was a ladies colour?"
Only if you're still stuck in the 1970s or actually believe that colours can be gendered...
nice!! got to love a skinny, steel, pink singlespeed. its made me trawl through my photos to dig out my old converted kilauea. ahhhh the memories sniff sniff......
I thought pink was a ladies colour?
We have a couple of heavy set forehead mono brow types in our club. So a few of us ride pink bikes / accessories simply to troll them.
I had an original inbred 29 for a while which someone before me had attempted to make a rat bike, so was in a poor state. I powder coated it a similar hot pink and shoved some pace rigid forks on it, was a cracking bike. Hope you enjoy yours (you will as it’s not your first!)

There has been a lot of "gas pipe" comments over the years about On One steel frames. I've been lucky to ride a real mix of steel bikes over the years and I really enjoy the Inbreds (in SS form).
Not pink but this rode really nicely and was, IMHO, quick:
An arty shot taken by a friend on a group ride/maiden voyage last weekend.
did you convert the lefty max to 29 yourself? I understand it's just the addition of a spacer (I assume in the damper?)
@lovewookie … this is a factory Speed SL (I think) that was an 80mm 29er fork from the start. In later PBR forks it’s usually 3 spacers that take a 120mm 26” fork and limit it to 90mm meaning that it will clear a 29er wheel.
