First new bike in years, upgraded a couple of bits from new, feels good after first ride over at FoD, off out into the frost zone now.

How did you fashion that chainstay protector?

Nice bike by the way!

CY, old inner tube by the looks of things.

Nice clean looking bike, lines that is, not the lack of mud.
Fit some mudguards and get out and ride it, enjoy!
Is that "neon orange"?

I was eyeing one of these up the other day - it looks a lot more lower and sleeker in your picture than the ones on the Orange site.

Hasn't helped my lust for a new bike, thats for sure.

Orange hardtails just look 'right'. Thats a particularly lovely example.

But you appear to have committed a terrible social faux pas though. On photographing your bike, the STW rules clearly state that at least one item must be clearly visible that requires criticism. Be that a terrible flowery sofa, a filthy untidy kitchen, overgrown borders, a fence in desperate need of cresting, or a dilapidated shed.

Now off you go, and come back with something more fitting.....

Chainstay is protected by old inner tube.

The colour is carrot top orange.

It may look low & sleek as its a 15" 650b, the Clockwork comes in 29" or 27.5" options.

It got filthy at FoD the other day, just returned from todays frostzone ride, all went well until the last descent across a common that the sun had defrosted into a sloppy mud flinging fest!

I spent ages geeking out all my bike options, took a bit of a gamble on this as i couldn't get to see a 15" before ordering, pretty happy so far. ๐Ÿ˜€

Ah yeah, the 15"-ness might add to the low-ness of it. I can only assume the large version is suitably gatepost enough.

Still, looks really good and I really want one.
