I tried to pick a piece of the garden

That's not even a bit of garden - it's courtyard.

Yeah, I'd paint those blocks, it'd brighten the place up. And get rid of that old bike, it's making the place look untidy.

Thats the work area, outside the shed/workshop its leaning on. After the front wheel is 80ft of shrubbery garden with a path winding to the garage.

Past the back wheel is the house.

I'm confused ... you ask us to believe you have a shrubbery garden yet you chose to show some ugly old bricks n slabs.

Does this mean an end to the what road bike, another what road bike, campag/shimano, threads?

Looks good, learn to do harlequin bar wrapping and get some celeste green tape to go under the black.

Not bad for £1500 eh?

The rear wheel is the std RS500, there's a 4za wheel with matching valve cap waiting to go on a soon as Mrs Kryton arrives back from Halfords with a spanner to fit the cassete lock ring nut. Although bviouly I need to but some celeste valve caps.

It has cranks / pedals on.

Sorry about the big ring 😳

'spoonn / cynic-al, er yes I guess so.

Not ridden it yet, I'm off out later hopefully so will post a summary mini review.

Trek for sale btw... 😀

You'll get over it. I dumped myself all over the road the other day. Phone, house keys, pump all stayed where they were supposed to be

I would argue that hitting an armco barrier at 25-30kmph, the ground was exactly where I was supposed to be. The problem was the hitting the barrier in the first place.

I like that whole "different colour valve caps" idea. Would work well to prevent me getting the wheels on the wrong ends. Genius!

I wondered if the front one was a very understated Wiggo tribute.

and your valve caps are different colours.

Just remove them, valve caps just aren't cool on a road bike.
