Thanks to Wiggle for making 36hr delivery on a 4-6 day committment.
P.S. I tried to pick a piece of the garden that couldn't be criticised
*awaits flaming*
I tried to pick a piece of the garden
That's not even a bit of garden - it's courtyard.
Yeah, I'd paint those blocks, it'd brighten the place up. And get rid of that old bike, it's making the place look untidy.
that looks very tidy indeed (for a road bike 😉
enjoy riding it 🙂
Are you going to at least render the block work??

Thats the work area, outside the shed/workshop its leaning on. After the front wheel is 80ft of shrubbery garden with a path winding to the garage.
Past the back wheel is the house.

On the to do list, we only moved in recently.
Could have jet washed the slabs.

I'm confused ... you ask us to believe you have a shrubbery garden yet you chose to show some ugly old bricks n slabs.
Does this mean an end to the what road bike, another what road bike, campag/shimano, threads?
Looks good, learn to do harlequin bar wrapping and get some celeste green tape to go under the black.
....and get the chain on the big ring for pics - says so in the rules ! 😆
lovely looking bike tho
Pump on the frame 😯
and your valve caps are different colours.

Loosk nice - ride better than your Trek?
+1 on the big ring!
also it'd be good to put some cranks on it 😉
Not bad for £1500 eh?
The rear wheel is the std RS500, there's a 4za wheel with matching valve cap waiting to go on a soon as Mrs Kryton arrives back from Halfords with a spanner to fit the cassete lock ring nut. Although bviouly I need to but some celeste valve caps.
It has cranks / pedals on.
Sorry about the big ring 😳
'spoonn / cynic-al, er yes I guess so.
Not ridden it yet, I'm off out later hopefully so will post a summary mini review.
Trek for sale btw... 😀

Pump on the frame
I can't get around the feeling it'll fall out my pocket....

You'll get over it. I dumped myself all over the road the other day. Phone, house keys, pump all stayed where they were supposed to be
But you didn't 🙂
I would argue that hitting an armco barrier at 25-30kmph, the ground was exactly where I was supposed to be. The problem was the hitting the barrier in the first place.
I like that whole "different colour valve caps" idea. Would work well to prevent me getting the wheels on the wrong ends. Genius!
I wondered if the front one was a very understated Wiggo tribute.

Just remove them, valve caps just aren't cool on a road bike.
