Looks mint, a perfect all-rounder. Are those the new 180mm Vans, and did you spec them yourself?

Shorter stem and wider bars will defo improve it, I reckon.

Apologfies for the missing link. And thanks for correcting.

The pedals are temporary to get me from the shop to the car! All 100 yards ๐Ÿ™‚

The forks are the Fox 180mm Talas. I wanted the CCDB shock so thought i might as well go the whole way and do the forks

Nice Rig

Have fun with the CCDB....

I just fitted mine and now playing with all the settIngs!

Think it will take a bit of time to get it sweet.

I think I way need a lower weight spring.....

Meh.

You can work out how to put up pictures, or you can build pretty much the perfect bike.

Clearly, pictures should be your priority.

Looks mint. Were there any issues raised re the warranty by speccing 180mm travel forks?

Would be very keen to hear your thoughts on the 180mm Talas (is that the Kashimi coating I see?), thinking about speccing them on a Mojo HD 8)

Nice bike there chap. ๐Ÿ˜€
I notice you have the 180mm fox forks fitted which look spot-on.
Only thing that confuses me is that on the orange website it says the maximum fork length to be 160mm.
Will that affect your warranty? ๐Ÿ˜•

Is it not based on A2C length, rather than travel (although often quoted as travel limitation rather than fork length), and as far as I know the A2C on those 180's is pretty similar/the same as the 160 version, with the extra travel accomodated by positioning the axel further up the lowers (or extending the lowers beneath the axle, whichever...). Pretty sure they are shorter than say a Totem.

Eitherway, nice looking bike.

No, Biketreks confirmed with Orange that the 180's would not affect the warranty
