The actual wire has snapped on my hack bike, was giving #1 child a backkie from the pub and jrl it went pizzle.....

I'll warn my son - his pub bike has rack saddle and stoker bars for bakkies of full size humans.

Wire bead? I've seen a couple of Schwalbe tyres do this years ago

Yeah, big apples.
Gyit them for £6.50 from PX about 8 years ago so don't really owe me, just surprised.

My examples were Marathons, maybe 10 years ago (massive timeframe guess)
