Thinking of getting a Canyon Nerve XC 8.0 but looking at Canyon's sizing calculator it seems to come up small.
I'm 6'4" tall with a 34-35" inside leg and it says I need a large.
This will be my 1st full susser so am used to H/T sizing but 21"-22" has been good in the past.
I tried a Trek EX8 at the Glentress Demo day and it was a 21 1/2" and felt o.k if a little on the small side, but stem and layback post would've sorted that out.
Think the XL looking at the geometry chart but unsure as they recommend the large.
Also can you get them to swap kit? It comes with a triple at the front but would really only want a double like I have at the moment!
There's been quite a few threads. I put in my measurements (6'1) with a 32" leg.
The bike came up as a medium - I would have expected it to be large? Then again, maybe I ride bikes the wrong size! Not at all impossible (2-3 year newbie).
I haven't ordered it mind. I want to...though....badly...
I meant to say "quite a few threads have a search". Some good info in them.
This might help, get someone else to measure you though.
Once I've sold (eventually) my H/T I will be ordering one but looking at their sizing suggets you'd have to be absolutly massive to need an XL.
Just wondering what height and inside leg/arm length the size large ranges to.
My gut says XL, smaller frames do look better but don't want to have to put a very long stem when ordering the I can get the right size frame now.
