hi there. could any1 help. ive got a spesh camber carbon comp 29er 2012. I want to upgrade my wheels but don't know the size of the front. some say its 15mm qr dropout others say 9mm? the rear is 12mm 142 through axel. ive checked loads on internet but still cant find a defo answer.

15mm is a bolt through axle (AKA QR bolt through in some brands) & 9mm is a traditional stupe QR so if you have a QR skewer which runs through it then it's that, if it's a bolt through - similar but thicker than the rear thats what you have.

Check the rear as specialized invented another size of 142+ just to confuse things.

that's brilliant buddy. I thought that cuz measured my wifes and it was the same but thought spesh had some mind twisting device on it. tbh I should come with 15mm thru axle. thanks again

ha ha. it is 142+ rear wheel. does that mean I cant use normal 142. why do they do it?
