Technically it turned up just over a week ago but it's fettled and ready for a ride tomorrow.

Helitaped, 150mm dropper and forks swapped to 160mm Pike Ultimates that I never got round to selling.

Looking forward to some HT action, will make a change to my 170/150 AM9.

I do have a 150mm shaft, I'll see how it is with 160 👍

Gravel could do with a good rake, and I think that tree will be coming down soon too 😔

That looks a giggle....

It would do my nut in that the curtains don't touch the floor though.

I don't know whether to head to Whinlatter for it's first ride or something more natural like the Skiddaw loop... decisions..

I would read up on the do's and don'ts of curtain hanging, I like to think of myself as a freestyle renegade of the curtain world.

Your gate needs attention.
White vinegar mixed with hot water and work it in with a brush and leave for 30 mins or more, then hose down. Repaint when dry with good quality fence paint.

Apart from that your new bike looks good.

I could never be without a hardtail.

Correct valve and tyre logo alignment is always appreciated, Nobby Nic Magic Mary is an underrated trail combo imho, those drawer knobs are a bit iffy though, I got some nice fake crystal ones from Home Bargains recently, they really make any unit look much nicer.

Never mind the gate look at that poor tree!

Is it really necessary to take the house down to repaint a gate?

Bike looks great. Hope it rides as good as it looks 👍

The gate is on the list, a long way down after riding bikes though.ย

First time on Schwalbe tyres, usually play it safe with Maxxis but I'm sure they be reet.

I'm not usually a crystal knob sorta guy but next time I'm in B&M I'll be sure to check out the knob selection.

I ran my scout 150mm then 160mm. Preferred it 160mm ๐Ÿ™‚

Looks great that. Still prefer the yellow, but that green is a close second.

Looks great, that green works really well on their HTs.

Quick spin round Whin, the bike feels great, my lungs not so much! Really does zip along and I don't feel like I'm adjusting to a new bike either. Coming from Tech4 V4 brakes these boggo Shimanos feel a bit 😬, but then it was minging up there today.ย

I'll see how it goes with some longer rides but it didn't seem over forked at 160, and the BB is low enough as it is.

I really like the green, although the yellow does look good too.ย
