i'll start with why isn't Sharon Laws going to the Olympics?
(edit)And this isn't a direct go at Nicole cooke but it is well known there is history between the riders that have been selected, a slightly different selection would have reflected a current trade team, and may as a result gel a bit better.
Got to agree. Why would you select people for the Olympics a week before the nationals? Makes no sense.

He was never going to. Sky put out a news article a week or so ago naming their 5-man squad for the NRRC. First time in 3 years that they haven't had a 1,2,3 on the podium although they did have 4 in the top 5!
Women's race was good; Lizzie, Sharon and Emma blew it to pieces almost straight away with Nikki Harris doing a fantastic ride to hang in there. Ride of the race though was Sarah Storey who was in a no-mans-land of chasing all day, she basically did a 110km TT. She came SO close to catching the leading 4 befroe Emma attacked and the gap went out again. Sarah came 5th and almost fell of her bike as she crossed the line.
