Narrow wide ring fitting issues

Hi, converting a Giant Trance Advanced 2016 to a narrow wide ring - cranks are SRAM 1000.

The guy I bought it off gave me 34T Narrow Wide ring with a BCD of 104. When I came to fit it - it seemed like it was a couple mm smaller than needed.

Is there a larger ring I should be going for - for these type of cranks?

Thanks

So after looking at the chainring on 2 x 10 the outer is definitely 104BCD, the new Praxxis narrow wide ring I have is 104BCD but it doesn’t fit the SRAM 1000 cranks.

Is there a certain type of narrow wide ring I should be going for?

It'll just be the shape of the chainring tabs not quite matching your cranks. File off the bit of the chainring that's interfering with the crank.
