Hi
Travelling to Nant yr Arian late July to ride the Summit trail.
I have an older Giant Anthem 29er
and a Giant XTC advanced SL 27.5 hardtail.
Can only fit one bike in the car and whilst my preference is the hardtail as lighter bike for the uphills and more maneuverable, the Full suspension Anthem would give a gentler ride going down!
Wonder what people's thoughts are re suitability of hardtail on this trail.

From memory, the trail was designed for 29ers.

Had loads of fun on that trail on a hardtail and a full suss, personally i would take a full suss.
