Not been for years how is it these days? Was thinking of a trail center type place for a change due to how much rain we’re getting.

The Mark of Zorro section of the Summit and Syfydrin trails is closed for tree harvesting – please stay away from this area.

The Hippity Hop section of the Pendam, Summit and Syfydrin mountain bike trails will be closed from 24 March for tree harvesting work.

From https://naturalresources.wales/bwlchnantyrarian?lang=en, unless you know a bunch of the non-trail centre stuff round there I'd not travel any distance to ride there at the moment.

Mark of Zorro re-opened a couple of days back. Love the place myself, doesn't seem to attract so many of the "lock the brakes at every opportunity" brigade, so the trails seem to hold up better than the more popular places. Hopefully, we can keep it that way.

In the absence of Zorro, Hippety Hop and High as a Kite were the funnest bits. But if Zorro has reopened I might be tempted to visit again

They have been doing a lot of work (to the trails and the forest). The trails near the visitor centre are much improved and riding nicely. The closures have been a pain but hopefully more will be opening up this year. The wilder stuff on the longer loop is the same ever. Probably quite wet at the moment so you'll need cross a few giant puddles if you go that way as the chicken lines will be boggy but the tracks will be fine (rocky surface).

The felling has made mark of Zorro different, possibly better, the surface has been a little chewed up in places which adds to the interest. Hippety hop being shut is a bit of a shame but not the end of the world.

Took hoppy jr down mark of zorro for the 1st time today and he enjoyed it. Bet him he'd not make it up leg burner without either a tow or a push, I was quite pleased to lose it even if it has cost me buying him a book.
