Looking at riding Nan Bield tomorrow from Haweswater, but as I'm not a fan of the Gatescarth Pass descent was looking at riding over Mosedale, through Swindale Head and the Old Corpse Road back down to Haweswater.
Does anyone know what this leg of the route is like in the ground? As it's new territory for me.

Mosedales boggy and will be sodden tomorrow, corpse road will be wet on top and fine down to Haweswater
