Please identify these tyres for me……

High volume (similar to a Hans Dampf)
Kevlar bead
Single Ply
700g – 800g
Tough enough to throw down an Alpe but also good for UK
Similar grip to a Hans Dampf
Less drag than a Hans Dampf
Can be found for less than £35 a tyre

Basically - what tyre is like a Hans Dampf but rolls better.
Front and rear may not be the same tyre....

I have a feeling they may be Maxis but not sure which flavour

Fat Albert? Very under-rated tyre and cheap at on-one. Good on the front. Not tried it on rear.

Onza Ibex 2.4DH up front, 2.25 rear.

Go up tubeless, mega grip, bulletproof and excellent weight/price etc etc.

Silverfish just got them now too so should be much easier to get.

+1 Last summer I ran them front and rear, they were great. Still go the rear on with mud tyre up front. if it works at QECP in the winter then it should work anywhere 😉

I picked up some On One Smorgasboard as a cheap summer tyre as I have to ride a few miles on the road. They are actually pretty good but no idea how the drag compares to HDs.
