That's a mighty big dose of the ghey you've caught there.

(I like that- one of my favourite road frames. If it had some proper gears on it I'd want it)

Good God that is stunning! I have just got hold of an Intense Fenix frame, so building that up. Won't be as nice as that though.

Sram red, there quite good although not as smooth as my dura-ace on the other bike. Its got a kinda mechanical feel to it. silly 11-23 cassette on the back, would of preferred an 11-25 but hey ho

I know it's Sram Red, I'm just not a fan, sorry.
If it had Dura Ace then yes-Spot on (IMHO only of course)
It's still FAR better than mine 😉

Raddogair, can it be true, do real men occasionally use bigger than a 23? I've almost weaned myself off the 27, don't think 23 would cut it quite yet though, the Kenmore road still exists, and I haven't even tried the Lecht.

Damn nice bike though, another few years and I might almost be able to justify one.

Occasionally while i'm waiting for the peleton to catch up on a climb i stick it in a 25 to make them feel good about themselves 😉

I've started drooling involuntarily.

Is it too early for me to upgrade my 3-week old Focus?

Would it make me quick too?

Sshhhh, dont tell anyone that i'm actually borrowing them of a friend !!!

P.s., if the wife can get me a new set of wheels you can have her for as long as you want 😛

dont apologise dude, i can see why people wouldn't get on with them. Nice to look at, very light but the gear system is deffo a marmite one. Would prob of preferred dura-ace TBH myself but i'm slowly getting the hang of them

Would it make me quick too?

Think its an unwritten rule that a new bike officially makes you go faster than you've ever went before. Your a whippet anyway so not much improvement to be made 😉

That is very nice!
I am in the middle of spec'ing a new road bike for myself. Nothing quite as nice as that I'm afraid but a Ribble Sportive Racing but (Sorry for the wee hijack here but it looks like you know what you're on about 😀 ) what say the STW roadies? Should I go for the
Shimano Ultegra 6700 10 Spd Double @ £1199.99
or
Campagnolo 2010 Centaur UT Carbon 10 Spd @ £1186.02
Or alternatively you could sell me your Felt radoggair for something in between those figures 😀

Any help would be appreciated from anyone slightly more 'in the know' than me.

Cheers

Paul

i'd go for the ultegra myself. Functionable, good weight and nice feel to it and not far off dura ace function wise. I'd also be tempted to pay the extra few bucks and go up to the Nero RC .

I used to see a lovely top end spesh roubaix outside work sometimes, nice, ultegra, etc. I thought it was amazing, then found out he has a top end stumpy carbon FS with all the gubbins. I want to meet this bloke I thought, cos he must be interesting at least, cos he's into bikes.

Turns out he had a beard and was a bit fat and shopped at asda.

I bet he is on here, Hello!!

Nice, so what's the ride like? Does aero frame = brutally stiff and not great on British roads?

nice bit of willy waving - lovely bike, just a shame you bought the new type R as opposed to the far superior old Type R. Those in the know would buy a Golf Gti or a Renaultsport Clio 😉

If you wanted a bike that screams 'LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!' then you've achieved your aim very well.

Bikes a bit of a screamer / pen1s statement, Boundary fence looks well on the p1ss and there's something funny going on with the finishing in that step riser. I reckon you'll get spalling on that if we have another hard winter...
