So the only thing I dislike about my awesome new Cube is the wide bars!

Was thinking of lopping-off probably 30mm each side...
Could this prove to be a really dumb idea?
Would it ultimately be better to buy some new bars the width I want... what d'you think???
Cheers
JB

Nice bike, but the white stickers make it unappealing to me.
Don't cut them, grow up ๐Ÿ™‚

How wide are they now? 30mm off each end sounds a lot to take off any bars but if that's how you like them then do it.

It's your bike, make it fit you. Don't breathe the dust though

Never mind the width, they don't seen to have a mass of white stickers so you'll have to change them anyway. Nice.

Carbon bars? With some sort of reinforcement at the ends for the bar ends? Do I need to say any more?

How wide are they at the moment? Don't look all that wide at the moment, 6cm less will surely be tiny when used with bar ends, and I'm a fan of narrow bars (have just installed 54cm ones - what was left after chopping off the bit the bar ends had mangled - though when used without ends I have as much space as on 58cm ones with).
