First outing tomorrow. After the agonizing over spec it'll be great to finally ride it.

Post, stem and bars to change one I've sorted the exact fit.

Yes I know the grass is a mess. That's getting sorted very soon.

Its beyond that, your lawn is truly offensive.

Bike is nice though, is that a 2010?

lol. It isn't a lawn (although that is clear enough), it has been a building plot. Garden is the last thing to be done!

2011. Nice, you'll love it. Awesome bikes. Although... black forks would've been nice...

I considered black forks, but black SIDs are rare as hens teeth, so I went for the contrast.

Bar ends - you bet! Ergon grips with the little bar ends. So comfortable on long rides. I wouldn't be without them (even if they where the reason I fell off and ruined my ankle last year!)

thanks for the general thumbs up.

Don't knock ergons until you've tried them. It just gives a nice little perch to change your grip on a long ride; not for getting your weight forward for climbing like the old school ski bend bar ends.

I believe Sam likes riding narrow, tree lined singletrack - and to add to the challenge he runs extra wide bars with bar-ends on - the penalty of clipping some undegrowth is now greater as the bar-ends act like hooks...

thanks Andrew - always after an extra challenge! No way I'm giving in to peer pressure I love my little ergon bar ends. Although if they cause a second accident I might have to reconsider ๐Ÿ˜‰

Came in around 25.1 lbs as seen in that picture. Pretty good considering the frame is a bit on the porky side.

3 - 4 hrs around surrey hills today. Amazing climbing ability, and why didn't someone tell me that full sussers were so much fun on the downs!!?

That's a good weight considering the extra weight of the ergon grips and the wide bars!!!

Assume you will be posting with full spec on the mtbr turner forum?

Beautiful bike, offensive bar ornaments though. Like when you see an attractive woman that happens to have sprayed herself orange to looked tanned, close but no banana.
