Just had a brilliant experience with my LBS... Bought a set of Magura Durins, last years stock, at less than half price, all fitted iin a day, plus new front mech. Asked to replace my headset if it needed, the guys just said it needed a re- grease...so they could have added more to the bill.
And no, I don't work for them...plus a nice chat and catch up with the guys that run the place. Stuff like that you don't get on line...

When I have spare time I choose to chat to friends and family rather than going talk to some random in a bike shop. I then spend all of 2 minutes buying what I need on line ๐
Besides my LBS doesnt like you if your local, they want to charge you more for the privilege!
