[#1132900]

It's not a sneaky plug or a fishing expedition, I just don't know how much these wheels are worth. And I'm not even sure I'm selling anyway.

I've bought a bike which has VGC Hope XC hubs laced to Mavic 729 rims.

Bearings nice and solid, straight and true with no dings, no chewing on freehub. A1 condition really.

Anyone care to estimate?

I wouldnt like to Guesstimate its a strange combo XC hubs are just that , no 20mm conversion and the rear axle wont take to much of a beating either. Yet there laced to nice big DH rims.

£100 maybe there I did it.

It is an odd combination isn't it? That's why I was flummoxed.

Cheers for that.

£100 max, you'd be better splitting them. Mostly cos the rear will be a lot easier to sell than the front. cos there are some DH bikes, and a few AM bikes where folk will want QR and a burly rim. But burly rim + qr? few folk will want that. I'd almost say strip that down, flog the rim and hub on their own.

hope hubs convert very easily. might be worth swapping them over. your more likely to get a sale. if you get the right guy i think you could get more than £100
