You have probably seen this bike before as a Singlespeed or as 1x9 rigid but some new Mavericks came up cheap for my full sus bike I thought I would try out this hardtail lark and put my old Mavericks on the Tinbred. Not ridden it yet but am looking forward to Sunday, also get to try out my old style XTR brakes wich should be a healthy upgrade to the m525's and all for about £65

Not sure about the bash guard, and you need some brown grips, are you sure those forks are strong enough for your new rotund frame.

Your right about the bash ring though, mind you it was a fiver, not easy to find bash rings for a campag crank.... Any leads on nice looking 5 bolt bash rings the same PCD as Campag would be nice..

Try asking BBG:

www.bbgbashguard.com

They do all sorts of types and sizes, they might be able to do custom for you.
