[#5302096]

26" wheels, 1 1/8th steerer, 9 speed and made from steel. I should've scrapped it all really.

Sweet. That looks awesome.

That looks like the sort of bike a dropper post was made for though.

No plans?

Brakes, I'm with you on the tyre logos. The Maxxis I can handle, but the Ardent print is ridiculous!

Renton, I had it blasted, powder coated and clear coat lacquered for £35!

A place in Ashton, Manchester. They did a great job too, all threads were properly masked and the finish is excellent.

Let me know if you want their details.

That's very nice - and definitely not obsolete! And very much deserving of a dropper post.

Lovely! I just put white forks on my black frame and I thought that was looking good but I must admit the black forks/white frame combo works even better.
Fantastic bikes too which kind of helps 🙂

Very nice. Presumably you are not crazy enough to actually try and ride it, but as a piece of art it's very nice 🙂

I've just bought a BFe too. Ace bike from what I've ridden so far. Here's to obsolescence (and buying cheap forks / drivetrain / wheels in the classifieds 8) ).

(I do miss the dropper post off my 'other' bike though. Modern bikes aren't completely without merit)

But aren't shorter travel forks cheaper? 😛

It's got shorter forks - and medium length forks - and the long ones shown in his photo (that's the beauty of Talas)! Mine's running the same fork too, though it does spend much of its time at 120mm... 🙂

Needs:
-[s]Shorter travel fork[/s]

-Brown saddle

Are you mental? That would look terrible!

And they don't work quite right at any length- that's the beauty of Float!
