So this popped up on my Facebook feed, looks pretty good. Not cheap but quite a nice idea from r summer runs with just a bottle in your cage and a sparkle in your eyes.

What keeps it in place? Do you need a tool to remove it?

Magnets apparently and it just pulls out by hand. You can stick powerlinks to it as well I think.
Curse you Brant.

Looks good, but 65 euros and no chain tool 😯 (down from 99 euros!)

Specialized do a steerer bung that has a chain tool. Comes in carbon and aluminium steerer diameters.

A great idea but I'm waiting for the square taper version...

Except you still have to find somewhere to put a tube, tyre levers, cable ties, etc.

It's just one less thing to put in a saddle bag.

A saddle bag comes in various sizes. Just saying.
My cycling tops have pockets for shorter rides.
I'm not saying I'm right but this seems like an expensive solution to a problem that really doesn't exist.

I like the thinking. Anything you can secrete.on the bike is good imho. Specialized have come up with their frame integrated swat stuff, and this fulfills a similar purpose for non modified frames. Of course the design needs testing in the field and it does look pricey for what's offered. But keep up the good work I say.

It's not cheap but the spesh top cap chain tool is £25 by itself. Hoping to see some actual real life reviews before purchasing though

Another plus point is how easily it will swap between bikes.

One good thing about the fat bike is you can fill the tyres with all sorts of stuff.. chain tools, multi tools, spare tubes, CO2 cartridges, kilo bags of haribo...
