Hi,
Does anyone use a mudhugger on a Scandal 29er or any other hard tail 29er for that matter?
Their website suggests 26"/27.5" only for these, so wondering if spray gets past them and onto your back etc.
Pics always good.
Cheers

I've got one on a hardtail 29er.
It keeps my ass clean but i still get mud higher up my back.

There is a 29er specific version due at the end of the month which is a little longer.

I use a 29er-specific Zefal defender on a FS bike, and it's extremely good...

I'll be adding an extension the one i have now and also collecting a 29er version when Bruce gets them in.
They work really well, don't move , make any noise or get in the way.

As it fits on the seat stays, if you have a smaller framed bike, then it will be slightly to short, but if you ride a bigger bike, it should be fine.
I know this because I had to add an extra bit on the end of mine, but my mate didn't cos his bike is 4" bigger than mine.

I couldn't agree more. Nearly as bad as having a big wet stripe up your back.

I'm getting one for my 5, so it makes no difference what it looks like.

Got the 26 version on my Zesty. Best guard I ever used and nice to be dry to go to the pub etc. The front one is also good but nowt is 100% effective at the front in my experience.

Looks like I may be o.k. with a regular one then as I've got an XL/21" frame. ๐Ÿ™‚
