Did it get much snow today and how are the roads down by Cinderford and down to pedalway cheers asking for tomorrow.
Roads are clear, I rode there today. Place was deserted and there was a couple of inches of snow everywhere. But it was infinitely rideable! In fact the ground under the snow wasn’t frozen so there was surprisingly tonnes of grip! Bloody good ride in fact!
Yeah, 2 - 3 inches of snow, main roads clear. Temperature hovering at or about freezing and snow is now 'crunchy'.
Pedal-a-bike-away cafe was closed today. They were trying to be open on Monday but there’s more snow expected overnight. There are some impressive drifts in places.
Cheers all we had fair bit in Cheltenham but the roads are clear bit of drifting up on the hills today by Birdlip.
Snow was great to ride in today only problem it never lasted to long and turned into yukey mud and water Hey Ho soon we will get some dry trails again happy days.
