[#1279333]

Just signed up for it, not a clue on the terrain/surface down there.

What sort of tyres will work well, is it a place that typically gets gloopy mud or more rocky??

Not a clue but surely it doesn't matter. Wanting to know the usual "type" of mud, ie. gloopy like mountain mayhem/wet slurry like here etc

problem with that?

I guess a general pair of tyres would suit, then a mud pair if the heavens open would be sufficient.

Bought that van yet?

I guess

Thats where the problems arise.

For example Maxxis ignitors are decent tyres up here but are shit when it gets slightly muddy so guess work is pointless

FWIW the conditions where we ride vary so much that any tyre you get on with here will work anywhere.

Need any help wiping your bum?

Gloopy, yes. Rocky, not so much. In the dry it can be pretty fast and Ignitors would be a good choice... but not sure thats going to happen at the beginning of April.

Certain parts of it will probably get churned up badly in the wet so I'd take some decent mud shedding tyres along.

See you there!
