without a pad - have you tried looking at the outdoor/climbing brands? I have a pair of Arc'Teryx climbing tights, midcalf, no pad, great for cool weather riding.

Would prefer a panelled tight cut specific for cycling.

Endura will hopefully reply with good news.............

Decathlon do some running ones "Kalenji"? They aren't bike panel cut, but I've worn them over regular lycra shorts without any probs.

Best news is they only cost around £10

...edit... oh, they are lycra fitted though...

I have some. I don't much like them for riding as they don't have legs grippers so they end up Nora Batty around the knees.

Alek... that'll be because they are "cropped tights"!

Hmmm... looks like they also do some compression ones as well. Could be tempted. Love my Skins leggings. http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/kanergy-knee-tight-2360607/

Is it just me, or is the Decathlon website really, really badly designed?

The first ones don't look much!!

But the compression ones just might be worth the money. Cheers for the link.

Yes, totally agree the decathlon website is 'crap'
