I'm off to visit relatives next week and will need time to get out of the way to clear my head, does anyone know any local trails in the area that can be ridden ?

Yes, lots! Down the old railway line to Craigellachie and then Ben Aigan if you want man made stuff. You can link in with the Moray Monster Trails at Fochabers too if you are feeling really energetic. I did a loop last week from Aberlour, over/around Conval, up Morton's Way on Corriehabbie Hill (817m) and then down through Glenfiddich to Duffton before taking the aforementioned railway line to Craigellachie and Aberlour. Stunning stuff with a herd of 100+ red deer. Loads of stuff to ride around there and you're virtually guaranteed to have it to yourself so head clearage will not be a problem.

Also, if that was you up on Corryhabbie Hill yesterday you rode it the wrong way round, aside from being ignorant and not saying hello. You really need that head cleared huh?
