I'll have the pleasure of staying for a week or so in Birkenhead. Assuming my bike isnt nicked within 10 minutes, is there anywhere round there worth riding?

90 mins / 2 hours drive from Snowdonia, Peaks & Lakes...
Closer than that, Llandegla or some natural xc riding in north east wales.
Delamere if your easily pleased
