Wondering if anyone knows what the MTB scene is like in Karlsruhe? Anything nearby - either a quick ride, or short drive, away?

Lots of good riding in the pfalz wald, the official waymarked routes are largely fireroads, but if you can get a local to show you round there is tons of singletrack. Failing that search on here for routes www.gps-tour.info/en/ pretty good for the whole of Germany.
