Hiya, took the plunge and got myself a mountain bike. Been going on about it for long enough ๐Ÿ™„ I have a Cube LTD and I notice the rims are 24". If I wanted to change them to 26" would there be any frame/componentry issues? Apologies if this is a lame question....

Are you sure? What makes you think they're 24"?

Are they Alex 24 rims? They're still 26ers, its just the name:

Just for clarity - I'm right ๐Ÿ™‚ Cube LTD's come with Alex rims, it's just a name - they're 26".

Enjoy!

(if the sheep poo stays in your tyres, rather than thrown into your face, then it's all good :D)

Yay! I win!

And so does Cymro, for he doesn't need to worry about what 650b, 29er and 700c wheels are ๐Ÿ˜‰

Pssst... (They're all plain wrong)

Sheep poo is the least of your worries, I used to have lovely legs, now covered in scars and constantly bashed, bruised and bloodied.
