Hiya, took the plunge and got myself a mountain bike. Been going on about it for long enough ๐ I have a Cube LTD and I notice the rims are 24". If I wanted to change them to 26" would there be any frame/componentry issues? Apologies if this is a lame question....
Are you sure? What makes you think they're 24"?
Are they Alex 24 rims? They're still 26ers, its just the name:

Just for clarity - I'm right ๐ Cube LTD's come with Alex rims, it's just a name - they're 26".

that's just part of the name Alex rims have decided to give the rim (zx24), they are 26 inch wheels not 24
ach . .beaten to it . .
Yes, thanks rickon, they're similar to that, just me being a numpty ๐ thanks for the responses, looking forward to a life filled with sheep poo in my tyres and in my front mech ๐
Well done, cheered me up tonight.
Enjoy!
(if the sheep poo stays in your tyres, rather than thrown into your face, then it's all good :D)
Yay! I win!
And so does Cymro, for he doesn't need to worry about what 650b, 29er and 700c wheels are ๐
Pssst... (They're all plain wrong)
What part of Wales u from ?
Sheep poo is the least of your worries, I used to have lovely legs, now covered in scars and constantly bashed, bruised and bloodied.
chAnge the saddle by all means i hated it, now got a ti SDG and it feels like i've got rear suspension, . . awesome bit of upgrade IMHO

North Wales, Flintshire. Loads of possibilities for falling off up here....
