Have a look around the corner at Ehrwald and Leermoos. So called Zugspitze Arena. There you can take your bike on the cable car and ride the Blindsee Trail.

You might find you get moaned at a fair bit by the walkers around Garmisch.

Google "Bike Verleih" ... Although you're more likely to find sit-up-and-beg eBikes for pensioners than proper mtb.
