I'm wanting to try some competitive racing. Im not super fit or fast but I dont do too bad when im on form.
Ive been speaking to some peeps about Enduro, no the long distance/time race but the timed stages format. I like the sound of this.
I cant find too much on the tinterweb, can anyone help?

Gravity Enduro is what you're after... can't link you to a specific website as the main series is a little uncertain at the moment.

No it's not, it's the same as last year. Admittedly the website needs updating mind you, but the Facebook page is fine:
They seem to have announced dates but not locations for next year? Or maybe it's just buried under the random conversations but I've had FB invites for all the rounds, but can't find where they are.
You said North West- you mean NW england? If innerleithen's within striking distance for you then it's been one of the hubs for enduro, and Innerleithen MTB Racing have a winter series of 3 coming up in the new year. http://www.innerleithenmtbracing.com/. They will be fantastic, they always are. There's also the Tweedlove King and Queen Enduro, and No Fuss are putting on a couple next year though they'll be further north- Fort William and TBC.
Maybe I just like enduro because it's a format where you can be an absolute also-ran and not just feel like a useless prick ๐
Page needs updating, no confirmation of locations to go with those dates, World Cup Gravity Enduro announced which may or may not adjust those dates etc.
I think we're meant to be applying for spaces starting next month.....
NoFuss Enduro Enduro at the end of June will be a fun event (if it's anything like Enduro Now that they held a couple of weeks ago! Near you too.
I'm in 2 minds about that one, not at all sure I'll be able to ride it as it's the day after the endurance downhill! (and also 10UTB). Should be good but maybe best not eh.
Have you seen you get free entry to Enduro Enduro if you enter 10UTB. Seems churlish not to ๐
I'm doing the downhill... Could barely walk the day after in previous years so I think maybe that'll be an enduro too far
The locations for the Gravity Enduro series won't be released until Jan/Feb next year.
POC TweedLove Enduro at end of May (Peebles/Glentress) should have an awesome course if you like loads of flow, fast natural trails and some steep techy bits. Shaping up to be a fairly big day out too. Filing up pretty fast, so if you fancy it I wouldn't leave it too long.
