They have arrived! Finally taken delivery of my custom 46mm offset 29er Ribbon Coil fork, one of the first batch of Ribbon Coils into the UK!
😀 😀 😀
That is all...
Calm down and edit the title 😀
Could you do me a favour and tell us they're rubbish. I really don't need a new fork.
Dibs when you sell it!
Had my Ribbon coils for 10 days. Had about 5 rides on them. Are super smooth. No stiction. Adjusters do as they say.. Ramp up is amazing
Fitted onto my new Rallon 29

Bloody predictive text!!! How the hell did it get coul not coil?!?!
Could you do me a favour and tell us they're rubbish. I really don't need a new fork.
Not even fitted yet, but the air sprung Ribbons I had were awesome, just pushing down on the coil version there is ZERO stiction! The small bump sensitivity was good on the air fork, but I have a feeling it’ll be night and day better on the coil. And all for a measly 220g weight penalty (which means they’re only just heavier than an air sprung Pike!)...
Can’t wait to ride them!

There’s a few people in the line already... But I’ll keep you posted! 😉
Glad you’re liking them Sam, did you stick with 51mm offset or go for 46mm?
What kinda travel are we talking about here as I need 120mm and these sound good as I was ideally wanting coil as a step back to the good old days.
Do they come with spare different weight springs?
Oh and why custom offset?
custom offset is why I'm interested in them SBG and all that jazz
Would like a set of these. Based on a pinkbike comment (ie indisputable fact) I'm thinking of seeing if the coil upgrade kit will fit in a stage...
bigjim, im 99 percent certain you can upgrade to coil but you cant then go back due to the scoring that the coil would make to the inside of the stanchions. That was from Noah sears on MTBR
These are high on my list for the new year. I just need to deal with the brace; I understand why it's this way but it does look a bit poo. Am I right in thinking they come with various decals so you can choose a colour to suit? I should a slight weight saving because they're replacing Yari's which are a bit chubby.
The Helm look good but I'm concerned about the damping (I think it was PB who said that the air ones were very very damped so great for pinners less good for your average rider).
Well would you Adam and Eve it...
