Ive never ventured in to that part of the country before..

How long will it take to get there after coming off the M5 motorway?

Are there facilities near by ie pubs, supermarket, take-aways etc.

Is it going to be warm and sunny ? 😆

Cheers

Nailsworth is a 5 minute drive.
Waitrose is 10 minutes in Stroud.
Sainsburys is 10 minutes also in Stroud.

It's about 20/25 minutes from the M5

Chippy in Minch
Pub in Minch

Decent campsite right outside Gatcombe with washing machine, nice toilet block, microwave.
Logs for sale for campfire and a farm shop.
Woman that runs it is a bit batty and can talk the hind legs off a donkey but is otherwise harmless.

Tobacconist Farm is the name and iirc, her name is Lucy.

Loads of pubs etc nearby. Best for food nearby is 'the ragged cot' 2 mins from gatcombe. If you like bread we have Hobbs(off the telly box) bakery in nailsworth, cake and bread galore with good cafe. Avoid minchinhampton for grub and head to nailsworth!

There's a couple of pubs in Avening, which is a 10 minute walk from Gatcombe. Tetbury is 4 miles away and has good pubs, chippy, a cracking indian and tescos. It's nice too, unlike Stroud.
