Is it possible to replace a frankly guff chainset with a 10spd Sram X5 chainset on a 9 speed system?

Yep works fine on my old mans salsa merlin are £50 with a bb

So no issues with 10spd on 9 spd set ups. Guess yours is running all ok.

Yeah seems fine he's done about 80 miles on it so far
