Thinking about booking a family holiday in Madeira this year and would like to do a day riding whilst there. Has anyone ridden in Madeira ? any recommendations from people who have actually ridden there would be much appreciated.

I was honeymoon in Madeira and was very tempted with a day or two on the bike. Not sure the new wife would have been too impressed tho!

I was put off a little by the cost of it, it seemed a little steep. (Like Madeira is!)
