recently started mountain biking, currently riding a 2010 gt agressor 1.0 want to upgrade though for my 16th birthday, i have taken a fancy to boardmans but will look in to what ever is suggested, does anyone know of any decent mountain bikes for around the £500 mark? if so please list!

Merlin are doing some Merida Matts bikes half price £250 - one of those plus a reba upgrade might be a good choice?

Added advantage of low brand recognition if you habitually park it in scrotesville, less desirable down the local Cash Converters / pub than a "name" brand I would think (didn't stop mine getting nicked though, now I come to think of it)
