My dad (a taxi driver) is on his way to pick up a cyclist with as yet tbc mechanical (but significant enough to warrant a taxi rescue). Which bike shop in Stirling would anyone recommend as being post likely to be super helpful and willing to squeeze in a bikepacker in their hour of need?

http://www.stirlingbikeworks.co.uk/ - give Iain a try. If he's got time I can't imagine him saying no - unless it stops him getting to our weekly ride tonight ๐Ÿ™‚

As well as that excellent suggestion there is Stirling Cycles in Causewayhead, Roots Cycles in Doune and Stirling Bike Doctor in STEP.

Only real issue is how soon any of them could fix the issue as I think all are busy.

Synergy in Auchterarder are good guys, ridiculous amount of bike porn in there as well. Don't know how local that is to the stranded rider

He will sort them out if he can - if not DickBarton's suggestions.

+1 for Stirling Bike Doctor. Andy is a top top mechanic and a cracking fella. A few friends have had good experience with the bike works too.
