So which make/model of mtb do you see the most in your local area road or trail for me it's spechs hardrocks, local dealer seams to have sold a shed load of them see them on the local trails and on the street very very common ๐
giants or specialized.
Mostly BSOs
A lot of Oranges in the Lakes, mostly Fives
Mostly stolen BSOs
Spesh or Giants.....though noticing Cube's becoming popular
Been noticing a lot of Orange Fives in the South Lakes myself Pridds.
Quite a lot of Santa Cruz' and Cubes recently too.
Scott Scale, usually the mid-level ones: 960, 660, etc. The used market is always flooded with them too.
Saracens, Hurricane spring to mind
Ibis mojo. Common as muck around here
Cotic's
Silly skinny tired ones with ridiculous drop bars. I guess that's the price you pay for not having any decent trails locally...
Specialized and their riders never say hello.
Loads of Cubes
santa cruz and Cube
In the surrey hills I would say. Orange-mostly fives, Specialized-Stumpys, and pich and Santa Cruz- Blur, nickel.
Tend to see lots of lapierres at cannock
Anthems, esp 29er ones around Cannock, common as doo doo here...........
Cubes, nukeproofs & specialized along with Trek
Fives in the South Lakes even heard about an Orange five owners meet recently ๐ฏ yet to see a Phatbike yet ๐
Orbea then Specialized.
Treks, cubes, lapierre's mainly.
Spesh and Santa Cruz up at Guisborough Woods
Cubes and Fives.
Orange 5's at Glentress.
Every time I blink another one appears........
That is until we start cycling & I smoke em all! Ha, ha! ๐
loads of jones bikes and fat bikes in the cannock area
Lots and lots of 26" wheeled bikes, I only know one person with a 29er.
Carrera, Boardman, Spesh, Cube, Orange
Seems to be a large number of cubes and ghosts at Llandegla
Spesh and Trek I seem to notice more than most round Woburn.
Although TBH I don't really pay much attention unless it's more of a custom build than an off-the-peg looking affair.
Lot of single speeds around Cannock too, probably cos it's flat..........
Giants in Malvern. May be because of the LBS being a Giant dealer..not seen another Intense, which is nice ๐

nah it's because the locals are so inbred their flippers can't work shifters
Bit like new mills then. And ramsbottom, Bacup etc
Pennines I'd say Orange, Specialised and Cube
stolen carreras
a few weeks ago on the local club ride, I was the only one out of 12 who wasn't on a specialised... they seem to have the monopoly here in Newbury!
Specialized. Everywhere!
Group I ride with all pretty much ride something different. Couple of 5s but that's about as common as it gets. Pretty much all still on 26ers too - can only think of one guy riding a 29er.
On our ride last night we had a Prophet, Five, Stumpy FSR, Intense 5.5, 456 Summer Season, NP Mega, Trance and Camber.
Small hardcore (cough) group I rideout with have rigid 29ers SS and with one lad on a Ridley Crosbow. The group that i occasionally ride with tend to have 2yr old Trek HT's etc..

Our motley (and pretty sweaty) crew last night was a BFe, a Rocky Mountain Slayer, a Meta, a Dawg, a Giant FS thing, a LaPierre of some sort and a Whyte hardtail.
The tweed valley is full of orange Fives/Alpines
Seems to very eclectic in HK but I would say a lot of Santa Cruz and Yetis.
Fives, Alpines, Patriots, SC Bullets. Occasional Ellsworth and Nicolai. Don't know anyone with a trek, spesh or canyon. All 26ers! We don't like change 'round 'ere.
