Its out to tender so may well be cognation but standard fiancial instructions and rule probably mean it has to go to open tender. Probably ensures best value is achieved as well.

£10/metre sounds cheap even for labour only costs.

wow hope it gets sorted soon

but 'a new DH track at cwmcarn by the end of the year' seems to be something ive heard every year since the uplift started!

it is happening, a friend of mine works for back on track, rowan sorrell is designing the tracks but the construction of them is still at the tender stage.

That is good news. He did a blinding job at Blaengarw (more like this please Rowan). Don't think there was any cognation involvement there either, it doesn't seem to be on their site.
