A new bike packing event in August that you good folks might be interested in. Fifty miles a day with a cracking overnight camp. And apart from the overnight camping/craft beer /home cooked food which is payable on site, it's totally free to enter. Limited to 100 places though, so crack on when the entries open on the 1st Feb. Just a couple of questions ..
You have quoted the dates as 17-18th August ..while clicking onto the link the dates are 18th-19th.
What is the cost of the overnight camping / food ?
Sounds great but those dates are out for me ..
Looks great. I'm signed up to the Jennride in May so will be investing in some bikepacking kit this spring. I may as well get some use out of it so I'll hopefully be available for this.
Well spotted, yes it's the weekend of the 18-19th.
Overnight camping is optional. Some are riding through, some have plans to stay elsewhere but the majority are staying at the organised overnight. There are more details on that front coming this week. Cost wise, depends on how much you eat and more importantly drink. This is going to be very social, so bring plenty of beer money and some paracetamol for the Sunday morning.
Can a mod just switch those dates around pretty please?
